Justin Davis

Putnam County, FL: A Putnam county man has been arrested and charged with five counts of aggravated assault with a weapon after intentionally ramming his vehicle into another vehicle at the intersection of North Moody Road and Reid Street, in Palatka. The investigation revealed that thirty-year-old Justin Davis intentionally drove his Dodge van into the victim’s vehicle in what was a case of mistaken identity. After ramming the victim’s vehicle, witnesses heard Davis yelling explicit language towards the victim. The twenty-eight-year-old victim and her four children, who are between the ages of one and eight, were all transported to Putnam Community Medical Center and later released after evaluation. A witness at the scene was able to obtain a photo containing the suspect’s vehicle and tag number. Deputies were able to track the vehicle to Davis’ Heidt Road residence. Putnam County Deputies are continuing efforts to locate the intended victim to ensure for her safety should Davis become eligible for release from the county jail. Davis is currently being held in the county jail without bond.
